Guidelines for new fleet designation |

 |
Define the geographical
area that will be covered. |
|

 |
Five active boats to
qualify. |
|
| |
 |
Assignment of officers
(minimally a Fleet Captain). |
|
| |
 |
List the one-design
racing events for the fleet. (Suggested, not required) |
|
| |
 |
Provide a list of boats
(hull #'s, names, owners and and their home ports) to the Class
Association. |

| |

| |
Additional administrative details |
|
| |
 |
The individual fleet
will be responsible for promoting the class within their region
and reporting any ownership changes to the Class Association.
|
|
| |
 |
There are currently
no fees or dues required of each fleet to the Class Association.
|
|
| |
 |
New Fleet designation
paperwork is to be sent to the Class Secretary for review and
subsequent submission to the Exec. Committee for approval. |
|
| |
 |
Fleets and Fleet contacts
will be listed on the J80 Class Association web-site. |
|
| |
 |
Each fleet is individually
responsible for the structure, organization and day to day operation
of the the fleet organization. Some of the details/issues/topics
