I am on a mission to find the best and/or least expensive "in slip" lift on which to store my J80.
I know many of you do this. What products have you used, ?specs, ? cost including installation and MOST importantly how satisfied are you

Ken-

I bought a 6000# capacity hydrohoist for my 80. Love it! rock solid. I'm on an inland lake which the level fluctuates dramatically therefore its on a floating dock but I'm sure they work just as well on a fixed dock. However there may be better options for a fixed dock that I'm not aware of. I believe it was installed for somewhere in the $4500-5000 dollar range. 2-3 year payback on bottom jobs alone. Much better for the boat. IMHO.

Ken,

Here in Houston we installed four dual-motor sling hoists for J-80's at Houston Yacht Club. Total installed cost was about $2000 per unit ($1600 for materials and equipment + $400 for labor - I think the labor cost was a bargain and relied heavily on doing four at one time). Love mine!
E-mail me off-lne if you need more info.

Due to relocation of my boat, I am now planning to sell my sling at a DEEP discount. Works great. Contact me if interested.
