I'm looking forward to heavy air sailing in the Buzzards Bay regatta next weekend, and am looking for some ideas on jib trim. When I move my leads back a bit to open the leech, the foot of my jib starts to flutter. I've heard from some that they move their leads forward a notch or two and ease the sheet slightly to power through the waves.

Any other suggestions?
