Hey Guys.... on average in 8 to 10 knots of breeze how many degrees do you tack through? We have found that when racing in a mixed fleet we go downwind through around 55 degrees and it works well, but upwind we just can't get it most of the time. Any thoughts?

The jib needs to be sheeted harder than I ever thought possible. It's truly a blade. For the size of the boat it's quite large and very high aspect. You have to pull it in and then down. The leech ends up rather straight when viewed from behind.

Bring the main traveler up in the light stuff to help point. If it builds ease off trav but remember to sheet in to compensate.
