Hi all, I am suspecting that I may have some wet core around my port chainplate as there is a small bulge in the deck around the chainplate. I've seen no evidence of water on the inside but I'm still a little worried. Can someone give me a step by step on how to remove the wet core, and re-bed the chainplate area.
Thanks in advance!

Remove the chain plate cover. Remove the chain plate iteself. Put an Allen head wrench upside down in your drill and use it as a router to remove the wet core. Fill the void with thickened resin, I found the West System the easiest to use.

Thanks J Spot. Sounds easy enough.... how much would you thicken the resin?
