Looking for a boat to charter for KWRW 2006 - any suggestions?

I was on Kikiyaon for 05, and had a blast in your fleet. Would love to raise the number of boats there by 1 for 06, and suddenly time is short.

I have a good team ready to go, and accomodations lined up. We can get the boat there and set up.

Please email me if you know of an available boat.

Did you contact J-World yet? That might be the best bet as there aren't many J-80's that live within 600 miles of Key West.

Try contacting TJ Arrufo with regatta group. You can find his website at RegattaGroup.com. He has a couple of J80's in Tampa and will offer a turn key operation if boats are still available.

Had a charter lined up on my boat which fell through. If you know of anybody looking to charter a fast, clean J-80 send them my way.

The shore side activities are part of the excitement surrounding KWRW. This year is no different. The activities from Premiere Racing are published in the NOR. These are a must, particularly the big tent. The experts presenting you rarely get a chance to hear and only read. The J80 Class also has activities and planning more.

Sunday - 4:00p Safe Harbour
"Boat setup" Kerry Klinger UK Sailmakers
Objective - Help setup boat, boat trim and tuning for KW breeze and chop. A real boat as a model.

Tuesday - 5:00p J Boats Booth
"J80 Class Meeting" Uzi Ozeri President
Class business, 2006 J80 Worlds Corpus Christi, Rule Changes, Class Direction
5:30 Experts available for questions (Terry Flynn - Quantum Design, Jay Lutz - North Sails, Kerry Klingler - UK Sailmakers)
Food provided by J Boats

Wednesday - 8:00 Monty's Restaurant, 951 Caroline St
"Class Party"
Forum - Best Practices A Crew's Perspective
Terry Flynn Moderator and interviews three best crews about their habits, will be fun and informative.

KWRW will again be the place to be in January

Correction: The Constitution does not allow Class Meetings without 60 day notice. We all need to know our Constitution. Therefore KWRW being 24 days there will be an attendee opportunity. Therefore the 5 pm meeting will be an opportunity to ask the Class pres about some of the important activities of the future. Hope to see you there.

We get truck and trailer storage at JSI. Contact Bill at (727)577-3220 - he was very accomodating to us. Boats can arrive any time, day or night. He has a combo lock that he is giving to boats with a reservation and he is painting lines in the yard to assist in the lining up of boats so no one will get blocked in. The rent for this service is a good bottle of malt scotch or rum.

There was a typo in the e-mail address for boat storage in St. Pete. It should be bill@newjsi.com .
