I have submitted a few quite lenghty articles regarding sailing of sportsboats and the view's held in Australia and NZ. So far I did not get any feedback. Do I bore everybody, is it not relevant to US sailing, or are the tips considered not relevant for J/80? Please offer some feedback so I can lean too.

Kind regards

What, Bob, people do not pay enough attention to you, little writer's insecurity going on? Seems like you know everything about everything, how can we dare to comment on any of your postulates.

The previous rude reply not withstanding,I would bet most of the participants here enjoy and appreciate your comments. They have been the source of good information and have stimulated much discussion. Please keep up the contribution.

I have a big phrf regatta next week and plan on incorporating your advice in my strategy plan.
Hopefully I will beat the big boys (if only I had real crew).

I too support your contributions. I appreciate the effort that you put into it and also enjoy your humor!

I understand your request for feedback as it sometimes may feel like your talking into an empty room when you get no response. I think that for the most part your advice is spot on with what we are doing here in Texas. I'm a new owner and visit this forum often but i also have the luxury of sailing in OD circuit stops where everyone is really helpful and shares information.

So far what I have learned is consistent with what you are posting. I liked the articles that you re-printed from the Aussie/NZ sport boat site and actually went to that site and looked at the other articles posted there.

Keep up the great submissions! Hopefully we will all race against each other someday and determine who learned what! See ya!

Thank you for you feedback. I will take note.I am sorry to have offended some of you with my rude comments. This was not intended.
As to create the impression to know everthing, well nothing could be further from the truth. I bought my first boat a J/80 three years ago when I was 43years old and vividly remember my first year of sailing. I was a big, big learnig curve and I hoped with some of the info I gathered from much more expierinced skiff sailors (most 20years+)I could share that knowledge and help other newcomers to shorthen the learning curve.
Judging from some comments I may have failed to achieve this.

To Ken,
Sorry about the rude remark. I would love to hear what worked for you in the PHRF? All the best.
