Hall QuickVang works fine on my boat. Have not used the VM.

I like my Vang Master, but the mast and boom fittings had to be modified to fit. Hopefully that's been corrected. I bought mine 4 years ago. I do like the fact that, because its neumatic, you can adjust how much pressure is in it with a bicycle pump.

Just bought a new Vang Master this spring and love it. They have upgraded the mast & boom fittings so it is a perfect fit. Much lighter than the Hall version. Pricing out of APS is just under $1k for the vang with fittings and it took about a week to recieve it.

I recently purchased hull #61 and I am replacing a lot of running rigging and various other parts. I am also thinking about installing the Vang Master.

Could someone give me an idea as to how easy (difficult) it is to install.

Thanks
