Rudder tightening

I have hull #43 and there is a fair amount of play in the rudder. Is there any repair possible (bushings, new pintle, etc.) that doesn't require removing the gudgeon's.

About lifting J-80's: I always lifted mine using a large shackle connecting a two eye ended steel chain which I then round to the crane hook. The chain is test guaranteed for a break load of 3.5 tons (7840lbs), and lasts for ever if dry stored.
