Are any sailmakers taking advantage of the changed sail weight rules for 2004? Presumbably, one could redistribute weight/strength advantageously (although longetivity may suffer). Poking around the websites for the major sailmakers, I see the same products that I saw last year - does this mean that nobody has bothered to develop a new product? If so, that's disappointing.

I have a new development by using Elliott/Pattison sails D4 pentex Jib. It's very fast. Just made bag weight by .30 of a pound. Used it at the last 2 circut stops. VERY FAST SAIL.

Dave, I sent you an email through the E/P website with a few questions. If you didn't get it, please email me directly with your correct address at: aujunkmail @ yahoo . com.

Thanks,

Al
