I am seriously looking for a J/80. What is the minimum height door the boat will go through on a Triad trailer? With the stanchions removed?

Not sure on the total height, but are you sure you want to take all the stanchions off to park it? Thats a load of work anytime you want to store the boat. I'll get some measurements ground to stanchion top for you. Gimme a couple days.

Have you thought about what you're going to do with the mast? If it's on the boat add another 4-5" conservatively.

Bob,

Thanks for the response but I'm all set. I bought the boat on New Years Eve and had to cut out approximately 3" of my barn door header to get it in. So I guess the answer to my question is a J/80 on a Triad trailer will go through a 10' 3" high opening (without removing the stanchions).
